It's 11:oo PM Saturday night. My sermon tomorrow is The Mustard Seed. I know everything about mustard seeds. My sermon will deal first of all with the parable of the mustard seed. The mustard seed is likened to the kingdom of heaven. It is the smallest of seeds and becomes a large bush or tree that even the birds of the air can come and perch in its shade. God's kingdom is like this; it had humble beginnings a savior born in a manager and ultimately became the Mountain of the House of Jehovah and all peoples come into and find life everlasting.
So faith is like a Mustard Seed. Luke 17 says even a little faith, like that of a mustard seed can with the power and strength of God become something grand and life giving for those in the kingdom. The title is actually, Little Things Into Great Things.
How interesting is the mustard seed.
