Gas for Under $2.00

I found cheap gas in Burleson today. I never thought I would pay under $2.00 a gallon for gasoline. It was amazing to fill up my tank for $30.00. I had a few bucks left to buy lunch. I couldn't believe it. I wonder if it will go any lower!

A Few Things On My Mind

  • Thanks to my daughter Rebecca who put this cool looking background on my blog.
  • I'm reading and studying Romans 4 for my sermon on Sunday.
  • I'm fighting a cold that makes my nose run incessantly and a cough that gives me a headache.
  • Jennifer is coming home for her Fall break from LCU and we are going to go to the State Fair of Texas tomorrow, its my day off.
  • I'm trying to learn Photoshop, but it seems like I don't have any time to do that.
  • Amy & Robby found a house in Crowley that they will be moving into very soon. They are very excited.
  • I enjoyed watching Texas and Texas Tech win their football games this week-end. It was sad however to watch the Cowboys get beat on Sunday by the Cardinals. Oh, well, can't have everything go my way all the time.
  • Lakeside is having its Fall Festival on Oct. 26th from 4 - 6 PM, so this is on my mind and I want it to go off successfully.
  • Amaya and Caden are the greatest grandkids in the world. They think I'm pretty neat. You can't help but love grandkids.
  • Debby is staying very busy with her school counseling. She has very busy and tiring days.
  • I haven't worked out in two weeks. I will be getting back to working out tomorrow.
  • My office is a mess and I need to clean and straighten it up a bit. I probably won't get to it for quite some time.
  • I realized I have a book by K.C. Moser entitled, The Gist of Romans. It was a book way a head of where everyone else was in the 1950's in regard to grace. I read the book about four years ago and just found out last week who K C Moser was. Good book! Good man!
